Course 2: Rhythm ~ The First Riding Necessity
Course Schedule | What to Expect:
Day One:
Lecture: Primary Focus is on the Rider
- Learn about neutral pelvis and posture
- Discover differences between men and women riders
- Experience and feel freedom of movement in riders bodies
Individual Sessions: Jillian balances riders in the saddle
Day Two:
Lecture: Technicalities of Rhythm as it relates to horses
- Define rhythm, tempo, gait, beat, and length of stride
- Discuss how humans affect rhythm energetically
Group lesson: Assisted lessons with eyes closed to enhance feel
- Learn to feel horses’ movement through a stride sequence
- Understand timing of aids
- Develop skills to influence rhythm

Prerequisite Notice - Course 1
An eye opening and practical equine functional anatomy lecture series for equestrians of all levels and disciplines who want to learn more about riding and training for equine physical and mental wellness. This course is a prerequisite for Jillian's more advance courses: Rhythm, and Relaxation.
Online Course 1: Functional Anatomy: Understanding Equine Movement. This online course is designed for you to work at your pace, and on your own time anywhere that you have an internet connection and a computer or mobile device.
